A playground for the Baobab community hall: help our neighbors in Berlin
A community-led a playground at the Baobab community hall that will serve 220 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,850.
It will serve about 220 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
