A playground for Pioneer Primary School: help our neighbors in Thane
Volunteers in Thane are raising $550 for a playground at Pioneer Primary School.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 112 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
• Materials: $450
• Permits and inspections: $60
