A playground for Maple Primary School: help our neighbors in Medan

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $600. It will serve about 422 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $600 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $40 • Materials: $530 • Tools hire and delivery: $30 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Umar
