A playground for Freedom Primary School: help our neighbors in Hồ Chí Minh City
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $450 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $150, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 165 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $250
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $70
• Tools hire and delivery: $80
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
