A playground: a volunteer-led effort in Stockholm
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $2,950 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,950.
It will serve about 146 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Materials: $2,050
• Permits and inspections: $105
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
• Tools hire and delivery: $525
