A playground: a volunteer-led effort in Hyderabad
Volunteers in Hyderabad are raising $300 for a playground at Pioneer Park.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 216 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Materials: $270
• Safety equipment and signage: $10
