My son Hudson has been accepted for treatment at Sydney University Hospital in Sydney, starting on Friday in August. We live 317 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Hudson and me. We can contribute $135 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Hudson will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from El Paso.

          • Sending love, Denise. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
