My daughter Silvia has been accepted for treatment at Seattle University Hospital in Seattle, starting on Wednesday in May. We live 216 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Silvia and me. We can contribute $155 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Silvia will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Best of luck, Susana. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings

    • you're not alone. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Greetings from Riverside

      • Hope it all works out. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.

        • Sending strength, Susana. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Seattle
