A place to stay near Johannesburg Transplant Centre while Kevin receives treatment
A family from a village four hours away needs lodging in Johannesburg while a child is treated.

My father Kevin has been accepted for treatment at Johannesburg Transplant Centre in Johannesburg, starting on Saturday in January. We live 438 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself.
We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Kevin and me. We can contribute $25 a week and cook for the household if you'd like.
Kevin will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

keep going, Ayanda. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest.
Hope things get better soon, Ayanda. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Johannesburg.
You're not alone. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
Rooting for you, Ayanda. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Winston-Salem so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Johannesburg.

Stay strong. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Johannesburg.
