Bang Khen
My son Thanawat has been accepted for treatment at Bang Khen Transplant Centre in Bang Khen, starting on Tuesday in November. We live 356 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 5 weeks. Two of us would stay: Thanawat and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Thanawat will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • So sorry you're going through this, Ubol. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

    • You're not alone, Ubol. Get well soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.

      • Wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in New Delhi this morning. Greetings from New Delhi

        • Good luck, Ubol. Your post was clear and honest. I hope November is when things finally get easier. All the best
