A scheduled a partial thyroidectomy in June is out of reach without help covering $1,300 of the cost.

Henrique was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the right knee in March. The surgeon at Campinas Regional Medical Center recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,150, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $1,300 short.
my son has been in and out of Campinas Regional Medical Center since March. The doctors say osteoarthritis in the right knee will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,150 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Henrique struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Henrique won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
