Mthunzi lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Mthatha Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,500.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Mthunzi could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

Sure. The biggest one is pair of hearing aids, $2,400. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one.
