Jerome lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Quezon City Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $950.
His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Jerome could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
