A pair of hearing aids would give Decha independence - we're $1,700 away.

Decha lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Pattaya Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,700.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Decha could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• pair of hearing aids: $1,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $55
• First-year servicing plan: $105
