A pair of hearing aids for Beatriz: help Beatriz move freely
Help Beatriz get a pair of hearing aids so She can go to school independently.
Anywhere in the world1,302 views
Beatriz lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Mérida Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,650.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Beatriz could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• pair of hearing aids: $2,500
• First-year servicing plan: $70
• Fitting and training sessions: $80
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
