A gas fitter is needed to repair a leaking gas line at the home of a family of 6.

In March an inspector told me that my home has a leaking gas line. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $120 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $15.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I hope April is when things finally get easier.
Wishing you peace. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Take care. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Duisburg.
