A gas fitter is needed to repair a burst pipe behind the wall at the home of a family of 5.

In April an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my newborn. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,200 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $90.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thanks for sharing this, Émilie. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this, Émilie. Shared this with my family.
Hang in there, Émilie. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
