A licensed gas fitter to fix a dangerous fault at Alice's home in Reading
Alice has a septic backup, and can't afford a licensed gas fitter to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In November an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my elderly mother. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $2,350 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed gas fitter who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $95.
The job should take about eight hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a gas fitter and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you the best, Alice. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
