A fresh start in Thika: help the Rahimi family resettle
The Rahimi family are rebuilding in Thika after leaving Ukraine; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Ukraine 14 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Thika. We're a family of five and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in September.
I was a shopkeeper in Ukraine, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Thika Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $350 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $60
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $105
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $115
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $70
Glad we found this place.
