Help a family of 5 start their new life in Salerno: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Afghanistan 8 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Salerno. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in October.
I was a pharmacist in Afghanistan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by a local church-run settlement group, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $3,100 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,150
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $890
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $520
• Language classes and bus passes: $420
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $120
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thank you all. We're at 3% now ($86). I'm honestly stunned. we've started the first stage.
Update from Salerno: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 1% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
