A fresh start in Narayanganj: help the Haddad family resettle

My family left Yemen 5 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Narayanganj. We're a family of eight and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in April. I was an engineer in Yemen, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent). Where the $600 goes: • Rent deposit and first month: $230 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $170 • Winter clothing and school supplies: $90 • Language classes and bus passes: $80 • Phone and internet for school and job search: $30 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
