Boulogne-Billancourt
My family left Myanmar 6 months ago after we were targeted for our work. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Boulogne-Billancourt. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in June. I was a pharmacist in Myanmar, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. Funds are managed by the Boulogne-Billancourt Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf. Where the $1,550 goes: • Winter clothing and school supplies: $390 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $850 • Language classes and bus passes: $310 Thank you so much. - Nafissatou

    • hope you get there. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from San Francisco.

      • Sending love, Nafissatou. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 6 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
