A free library and reading room for the Freedom community hall: help our neighbors in Nagpur
Volunteers in Nagpur are raising $550 for a free library and reading room at the Freedom community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 513 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $85
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
• Materials: $380
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Keep going, Aadhya. Hope you get there. I hope December is when things finally get easier.
Sending love. I hope things turn around soon. After 28 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
so sorry you're going through this, Aadhya. Hope you get there. Don't give up. Greetings from Chandler
Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Hamilton but we're thinking of you. Blessings
