A free library and reading room for Harmony Park: help our neighbors in Breda
Volunteers in Breda are raising $650 for a free library and reading room at Harmony Park.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 510 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $220
• Safety equipment and signage: $310
• Permits and inspections: $120
