A free library and reading room for Cedar Primary School: help our neighbors in Las Cruces
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $1,050 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $1,050, and the remaining cost is $1,050.
It will serve about 353 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
