A free library and reading room for Cedar Primary School: help our neighbors in Mysuru

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $300. It will serve about 398 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $300 goes: • Materials: $180 • Permits and inspections: $45 • Safety equipment and signage: $75 Every share and every dollar helps. - Tanvir
