A few hours of tenant-rights lawyer time could save Joshua's home
Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Joshua.

I'm facing a visa refusal appeal, with a hearing on February. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified tenant-rights lawyer licensed in California who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Los Angeles or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you and your family, Joshua. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Auckland.
Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care
it takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
