A few hours of immigration lawyer time could save Mia's home
Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Mia.

I'm facing wrongful dismissal after reporting unsafe conditions, with a hearing on September. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer.
I'm looking for a qualified immigration lawyer licensed in California who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee.
I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Los Angeles or meet online.
I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist.

Keep going, Mia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Johannesburg.
Shared it with a few friends. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Los Angeles.
