A few hours of consumer-debt lawyer time could save Joaquín's home

Joaquín is facing a custody dispute and cannot afford a lawyer; a consumer-debt lawyer willing to review the case for free could make the difference.

I'm facing a custody dispute, with a hearing on May. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer. I'm looking for a qualified consumer-debt lawyer licensed in Bogotá D.C. who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee. I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Bogotá or meet online. I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Thinking of you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too

    • Praying for you. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Campinas.

      • sending strength. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
