A few hours of consumer-debt lawyer time could save Andrew's home

Legal aid is overbooked; a few hours of professional help would change the outcome for Andrew.

I'm facing an unpaid wages claim, with a hearing on December. I earn too much to qualify for legal aid on paper, but not nearly enough to pay a lawyer's retainer. I'm looking for a qualified consumer-debt lawyer licensed in Texas who might be able to review my documents, prepare me for the hearing, or take the case pro bono or on a reduced fee. I've organized my documents chronologically, and I'll share them with the lawyer who agrees to help. I can travel to your office in Laredo or meet online. I understand that the time of a lawyer is valuable, and I'm deeply grateful for any help or for suggestions of organizations that could assist. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Wishing you the best. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best

    • Hope it all works out, Andrew. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.

      • hope it all works out, Andrew. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
