A day in the garden: help Ziad in Shubra
Ziad, 90, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Shubra for 28 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you and your family, Ziad. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Blessings.
Keep going, Ziad. Your post was clear and honest. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless
