A day in the garden: help Pieter in Pretoria
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Pieter's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Pretoria for 46 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

Hang in there, Pieter. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best
Thinking of you, Pieter. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Warsaw this morning. All the best.
sending strength, Pieter. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
