A day in the garden: help Pedro in Belo Horizonte
Pedro, 83, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 83 and I have lived in this house in Belo Horizonte for 49 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

Sending strength, Pedro. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 20 people at work.
Sending strength, Pedro. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings
Sending love, Pedro. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Thinking of you and your family, Pedro. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Los Angeles but we're thinking of you.
Take care. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
