Patrícia, 78, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 78 and I have lived in this house in Belém for 33 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

So sorry you're going through this. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
You're not alone, Patrícia. Wishing Patrícia a smooth procedure and a full recovery.
So sorry you're going through this. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 17 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
