A day in the garden: help Osamu in Kobe
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Osamu's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 77 and I have lived in this house in Kobe for 31 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending good thoughts, Osamu. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Kobe.
Your post was clear and honest. After 27 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
Rooting for you, Osamu. Hope you get there. My husband and I read this together. All the best.
