A day in the garden: help Laura in San Francisco
Garden rescue day in San Francisco: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 72 and I have lived in this house in San Francisco for 22 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

wishing you the best, Laura. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Enugu donated after I showed her your page. All the best.
good luck. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
thanks for sharing this. I hope things turn around soon. I hope November is when things finally get easier!
