A day in the garden: help Gashaw in Addis Ababa
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Gashaw's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in Addis Ababa for 50 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
