A day in the garden: help Emmanuel in Quezon City
Emmanuel, 78, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.
🇵🇭 Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines292 views
I'm 78 and I have lived in this house in Quezon City for 36 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Thanks for sharing this, Emmanuel. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
