Venkatesh was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in December. The surgeon at Pune Regional Medical Center recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $750 short.
my son has been in and out of Pune Regional Medical Center since December. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Venkatesh struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
