A craniotomy for Tharun: covering what insurance won't
Tharun needs a craniotomy at Lucknow Community Hospital and the family is $950 short of the hospital's estimate.

Tharun was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in August. The surgeon at Lucknow Community Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,900, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $950 short.
my father has been in and out of Lucknow Community Hospital since August. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Tharun struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Tharun won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $950 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $50
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $75
• Travel and lodging for the family: $60
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $360
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $405
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
