Papa was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in November. The surgeon at Cape Coast Orthopedic Institute recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $600 short. my husband has been in and out of Cape Coast Orthopedic Institute since November. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find.
