A covered market stall space for Union Primary School: help our neighbors in Kampala

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 430 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $400 goes: • Materials: $260 • Permits and inspections: $20 • Safety equipment and signage: $25 • Tools hire and delivery: $95 With deep gratitude, Tumusiime
