A covered market stall space for the old Pioneer bus depot: help our neighbors in Mardan
A community-led a covered market stall space at the old Pioneer bus depot that will serve 451 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 451 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $15
• Materials: $350
• Tools hire and delivery: $35
Every share and every dollar helps.
