A covered market stall space for the Baobab community hall: help our neighbors in Guarulhos
Volunteers in Guarulhos are raising $1,100 for a covered market stall space at the Baobab community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,100.
It will serve about 463 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $100
