A covered market stall space for Sycamore Primary School: help our neighbors in San Francisco

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,600. It will serve about 592 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $3,600 goes: • Permits and inspections: $290 • Materials: $2,850 • Tools hire and delivery: $460 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Beth
