A covered market stall space for Sycamore Park: help our neighbors in Bursa
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $1,000 for materials.
🇹🇷 Bursa, Bursa, Türkiye419 views
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,000.
It will serve about 441 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Materials: $760
• Permits and inspections: $80
• Safety equipment and signage: $70
• Tools hire and delivery: $90
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
