A covered market stall space for Jacaranda Park: help our neighbors in Hamilton
Volunteers in Hamilton are raising $3,250 for a covered market stall space at Jacaranda Park.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,250.
It will serve about 298 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Materials: $2,500
• Permits and inspections: $140
• Safety equipment and signage: $195
• Tools hire and delivery: $415
