A covered market stall space for Jacaranda Park: help our neighbors in Los Angeles
Volunteers in Los Angeles are raising $1,550 for a covered market stall space at Jacaranda Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,550.
It will serve about 512 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Materials: $1,150
• Tools hire and delivery: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $150
With deep gratitude,
Anthony

Hope it all works out. This could happen to any of us. I hope January is when things finally get easier. God bless.
