A covered market stall space for Cedar Primary School: help our neighbors in Soweto

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $600. It will serve about 463 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
