A covered market stall space: a volunteer-led effort in Warangal
Volunteers in Warangal are raising $300 for a covered market stall space at the Sycamore vacant lot.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 224 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $175
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Quick update: $221 raised so far (74%). I made the first payment toward materials. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
